I’ve come up with a spice rub I use on everything these days. I’ve put it on chicken. Chicken wings & pork tenderloin. All amazing. It is:
- Smoked paprika
- Chili powder
- Onion powder
- Sometimes a bit of brown sugar
Marinate the meat in that mix with a bit of oil to stick over night & you are good to go. The bit of brown sugar is great on the pork. Really gives it that tiny sweet but smokey taste. Yum
Tonight I have a STEM class to teach at the library. We are making hover crafts using a CD, a pull top & a balloon.
The problem about this very easy project is that when I went to buy the sports bottles for the pull tops I found that NOTHING comes with a pull top anymore they are all flip caps. The pull top is key to making the project work. So onto plan B, dish soap bottles. Those def have pull tops. The ONLY dish soap bottles with pull tops are the LARGEST size bottle of palm olive…the value size at $4 a pop. So now I have my pull tops & 25 gallons of dish soap. Thank goodness we capped the class size to 25. What does one do with so much dish soap?
